Google just announced a new way to search on their homepage from a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. Say Hello to Google Handwrite.
Handwrite is available today on Google Search, and all you have to do is switch it on in the settings menu at Google.com, and you’ll be able to write out words (with your fingers or stylus, etc) and that will automatically be detected and spelt out on the page. You can then search for the query or just erase and write something else. Here’s a video to give you a better idea:

What’s genius about this, is that it’s built on the web and not on the phone. Google Handwrite should work on all iOS 5 and newer devices, and all Android 2.3 or newer devices.
